Aryana Cafe serves Middle Eastern, Afghan and Tanzanian cooking. The site does the two jobs a restaurant site has to do — show what the kitchen makes, and take a booking — without routing either through a phone call.
How it works
The menu is browsable on the site rather than posted as a photograph or a PDF, so it stays readable on the phone most people will open it on. Reservations are taken on the site directly, and a guest can register an account, which keeps their bookings in one place instead of scattered across confirmation messages. The two things the site wants a visitor to do are the two offered on the home page: view the menu, or make a reservation.
Using it
Browse the menu to see what the kitchen is cooking, then book a table for a date and time. Register an account if you eat there often enough to want your reservations kept together; otherwise book and go.
